About
Melissa Bahrami is a multidisciplinary creative working across photography, conceptual art, fashion, and cultural research. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and integrates her academic background with her artistic practice through projects such as The Listening Symposium: an ethnomusicology initiative exploring music as intangible heritage.
As a professional photographer, Melissa has worked with clients including Taekwondo BC (as the federation’s official photographer), Master Tony Kook’s Taekwondo Academies, Gracie Barra West Vancouver, Endurance Taekwondo Academies, Vancouver Pool Construction, Pietra del Sol Marble Company, and several realtors, among other local clients across different professions.
Melissa’s work is defined by strong technical execution, adaptability across settings, and the ability to balance creative direction with client needs. She brings the same discipline and attention to detail to commercial projects as she does to her independent artistic practice.
